Establishment of an Islamic Welfare Office in Port Shepstone
Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah (SWT), the Port Shepstone Islamic Welfare Trust (PSIWT) inaugurated its operations in August 2017. The PSIWT succeeded the former Port Shepstone Zakaah Committee and established its offices at 39 Reynolds Street.
The PSIWT assumed approximately 99 case files from the PSZC and is presently managing 120 cases. The Trust is supported by 14 committee members and staffed by 3 permanent employees.
The office operates from Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:00, offering consultations, committee meetings, and case reviews. We extend our deepest gratitude and JazakAllah to our donor for providing us the use of these premises.
